This is where the Sarenza competition comes in, I only spotted the competition last night on Claire's blog and I had a lightbulb moment 'If I win £800 of shoes I'll never have to waste money on beautiful yet evil footwear ever again.' Now I've never bought any shoes from Sarenza but I have noticed a lot of bloggers singing their praises and now I can completely understand why! The selection of shoes on their website is phenomenal! There are hundreds of the latest styles and the classic brands such as Dr Martens, Converse, Irregular choice and Vans and they also have the latest designer goodies from Jefferey Campbell and Vivienne Westwood for Melissa. Its a shoe-lovers heaven! They include handy guides on the site to help you care for you new shoes whether they be patent leather or suede. They even offer thrifty solutions for shoe storage! Another great plus for me is that they offer a 100 day return service! Yes ONE HUNDRED DAYS! That means that even if I, the most indecisive shoe customer, am not happy with them I have plenty of time to make the return/keep decision. The site has thoroughly impressed me and I'll be sure to make it my first port of call when I need some new shoesies :)
Here are my chosen shoes from the A/W collection for the competition entry. The theme is 'Great British Style' so I thought I'd include my favourite shoes that would see me through a typical British winter...
1.ANNIEL Joana I think a pair of glittery pumps should be in every girls wardrobe. If like me you are a high heel phobic than a pair of glitzy flats is the perfect alternative! I love the black/grey sheen on this pair, they are simple yet classic.
2. GEORGIA ROSE Perly
I really love brogues and these are no exception. I think that the studs make them a little edgier than normal brogues and the dusky grey suede and the satin laces give them a more feminine feel. I think the feminine details and the masculine shape of the shoe work really well together and stop the 'I'm wearing my boyfriends shoes' look.
Perfect Patent
3. MELISSA VIVIENNE WESTWOOD
When it rains in the north it pours! I'm not looking forward to the long wet winter but I think these rubber booties would definitely put a spring in my step. They are chic, fun and they smell of bubblegum what more could a girl ask for?
4. I LOVE SHOES Jorgi
I know I said that I'm not the best at walking in heels but I think I could manage in these cute patent T-bars. The bow detail is on trend with the burgundy velvet and it really modernises the shoe. These would be perfect for all the Christmas parties!
Lovely Lace-ups
5. TED BAKER Skoch
I can totally see myself prancing around in these trainers. The colour is amazing and they'll definitely add a pop of colour to a dreary winter day! Colour blocking is still on trend this A/W and they have combined the bright colour with the print of the season-Snakeskin!
6.DR MARTENS 1460 Cherry Red
Dr martens are my favourite boots! I own two pairs of the fur lined ones and they are my staple shoe when the cold weather creeps in. I don't own a pair of the classic leather 1460 boots though and I think they would be a welcome addition to my life :) The cherry red leather is by far my favourite version.
Have you shopped at Sarenza before? What are your favourite shoes for A/W?
This competition ends tonight so be quick if you want to enter!
