Sunday

I'm baaaaack with a mini-haul!

Well hello there!
Long time no see, I've been so busy with starting uni again and being an intern that 'Inspired by the Retired' has been abandoned for a few weeks. My internship finished yesterday and although it wasn't really what I expected it was still 'experience'. Uni-wise they've already starting piling on the work but I feel a lot more enthusiastic about the course this year. Its my final year and I really want to make the most of it! I'm not going to be doing as many shifts at The Body Shop this year so I can 'concentrate' on my uni work so hopefully it will all help because I am honestly the most disorganised person, I usually feel really motivated at the beginning of a project and that soon fizzles out after a week or so then I start to panic towards the end. I'm really trying to stay calm and collected this year so *fingers crossed*...

I'm still aiming to post at least once a week and I promise to keep you all updated with my thrifty finds :)
Here are a few things I've bought over the last few days. I went into town and actually bought some clothes today. I haven't bought high street clothes for ages, its mostly been eBay and charity shops for the past few months! I've been really careful with my loan money and I'm getting paid next week so I thought I could spoil myself a bit :)

I noticed this skirt in H&M's window and fell in love, I wasn't sure if tight leather is really 'me' but I think it looks really flattering when its on and for £14.99 I couldn't really argue! I also bought this burgundy Breton tee which I thought was kinda cute and casual and could be worn with quite a lot of things in my wardrobe.

These converse are my sexy new replacement for my old ones that died a sad death a few weeks ago when the sole came off and were totally soaked by the rain. I got them off Schuh's eBay shop for £25 instead of £43 because they were 'damaged'. The damage is a teeny, tiny little spec of glue on the right shoe! I am totally loving lilac at the mo' and it was such a bonus when they came with these glittery shoe laces too :)

I bought these cheeky little critters from Homesense today. I love candles anyway but even more when they are pink birdies :) These were £5 for both of them instead of £15.

I had my hair cut and coloured on Friday (pics to follow) so I thought I'd try out something new. My hair is so limp and straight so I fancy trying a bit of a messy textured look. This was reduced from £10 to £3 in TKMaxx and 'thickening grunge granules' sound right up my street. I've had a quick go but I'll post a proper review after I've used it a few times.

I have so many pairs of tights but there's always room for more in my opinion! These looked like a bit of fun and as I said I'm totally bumming purple right now! 'Happy Socks' sound cute and £18 tights reduced to a couple of quid is fine by me :)

Have you bought any bargains recently? Whats on your payday wish list?
I hope you are all finding the new term exciting :)
Thanks for reading :)
