(Very Photo Heavy!)
My new years resolution (yep I'm still sticking to it!) is to visit the top 10 places in the UK, I always say that I don't really like it here but truth be told I haven't been to the majority of the country! So York was top of my list. My family and friends have visited before and thoroughly recommended it to me. We booked a room in Hotel Noir through Late Rooms for a 'bargainious' £50 for the night instead of £150! Mikey and I really fell in love with the city, it is so quaint and unspoilt and there are so many places to visit and things to do. We were only there for a day and a half after deducting travelling time but we still managed to do so much in that short space of time. As you can tell from the photos the weather was very undecided it poured down one minute and was bright sunshine the next! We really had a great couple of days and would recommend the hotel and the city itself to everyone :)
Next stop: Brighton
(at the end of June)
Thanks for reading!

P.S sorry I keep postponing my giveaway but I have something really lovely being made especially ;)
I've always wanted to visit York, it looks so lovely! Glad you had a good time. Brighton is another one of the places I want to visit. What are the other eight? X
ReplyDeleteHi Hayley, The other eight on the list are:
ReplyDelete-Stonehenge
-Lake Windermere
-Portmerion, Wales
-Edinburgh
-Bath
-Hadrian's Wall
-Windsor Castle, London
-St Ives, Cornwall
These are apparently the most beautiful attractions/places to visit in the country! I've got 7 months to visit them all, I can't really afford to go on a holiday abroad so I'm gonna do mini-trips everywhere :)

This is a really great idea, especially for a cash strapped student like me!
